Heads up: Samsung bumped a bunch of prices this year. The S25 Ultra is now $279, not the $259 you’ll still see on a lot of sites. Here are the current numbers, plus a repair option that can save you money.
Galaxy S screen prices
These are Samsung’s suggested US prices for its Screen Repair service, which swaps just the front screen. Stores can be a little different, and tax is extra.
| Series | Ultra | Plus | Standard | FE |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Galaxy S26 | $289 | $229 | $209 | $119 |
| Galaxy S25 | $279 | $209 | $189 | $109 |
| Galaxy S24 | $259 | $199 | $174 | $99 |
| Galaxy S23 | $259 | $194 | $174 | $99 |
| Galaxy S22 | $249 | $199 | $174 | — |
| Galaxy S21 | $229 | $199 | $174 | — |
Screen repair or the full module?
Samsung gives you two choices, and cheapest isn’t always best:
- Screen Repair swaps only the cracked front screen. Cheapest, but your phone can’t have a bent frame, a swollen battery or other problems.
- Screen Module Replacement swaps the screen, the metal frame and the battery all at once. Costs more, but you walk out with a fresh battery too.
On older phones the difference is tiny. A Galaxy S23 screen repair is $174, and the full module with a new battery is $209. If your battery’s already tired, that extra $35 is a steal.
| Model | Screen only | Screen + frame + battery |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy S23 Ultra | $259 | $319 |
| Galaxy S23+ | $194 | $249 |
| Galaxy S23 | $174 | $209 |
| Galaxy S22 Ultra | $249 | $289 |
| Galaxy S22 | $174 | $199 |
Fold and Flip screens
Foldables have two screens, and the big folding one inside is where it gets pricey.
| Model | Inner screen | Outer screen |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra | $479 | $149 |
| Galaxy Z Fold8 | $419 | $139 |
| Galaxy Z Flip8 | $249 | $129 |
| Galaxy Z Fold7 | $449 | $139 |
| Galaxy Z Flip7 | $249 | $119 |
| Galaxy Z Flip7 FE | $209 | $109 |
| Galaxy Z Fold6 | $429 | $129 |
| Galaxy Z Flip6 | $239 | $109 |
Where to get it done
Samsung has three ways to fix it, all with genuine parts and a 90-day repair warranty:
- Walk in to an authorized service center, often same day
- We Come to You, where a tech fixes it at your house or office
- Mail it in, usually 5 to 7 business days

Samsung or a local shop?
Local shops can be cheaper, especially on older Galaxys. Ultras are trickier: the screen has the fingerprint sensor built in, and on the S26 Ultra the Privacy Display too, so a cheap replacement can break stuff you use every day. Ask first:
- Is it a genuine Samsung screen or aftermarket?
- Will my fingerprint sensor still work?
- How long is the warranty?
Worth fixing?
For a Galaxy S23 or newer, usually yes. Samsung supports its recent flagships for years, so a new screen buys you a lot of time. For an S21 or S22, compare the repair price with what you’d get trading it in, and run it through our repair or replace calculator. Need a number for your exact model? Try the repair cost estimator.
These are Samsung’s suggested US prices as of October 2026. Always confirm the final price before you approve the repair.
